Prof. Halil Hasar, Director of Climate Change and COP31 Chief Climate Diplomacy Officer, addressed the session titled “From Global Consensus to Implementation,” held as part of the Bonn Climate Change Conference, on behalf of the COP31 Presidency.

Director of Climate Change Hasar highlighted the critical importance of accelerating climate action during this decisive decade to stay on track with the '2050 Net Zero Target.'

Underscoring that a just, orderly, and equitable transition across energy systems relies on strengthening international cooperation, science-based policies, and inclusive approaches, Director Hasar shared key insights into the priorities and goals of the COP31 Action Agenda.
