Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, engaged in a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). At the Baku Olympic Stadium, Minister Kurum met with Ruslan Edelgeriyev, Advisor to the President and Special Presidential Representative on Climate Issues for the Russian Federation. The Minister subsequently held a meeting with Jim Skea, Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). These discussions focused on collaborative efforts in the field of environment and the global fight against climate change.
