The series of panel discussions hosted at the Turkish Pavilion during COP29, which has drawn extensive global participation, continued on November 19.

Leading experts convened at the Turkish Pavilion to conduct panel discussions centered on the themes of “Food, Agriculture, and Water.”

The sessions featured expert evaluations on national policies and best practices regarding water storage, flood management, groundwater utilization, and efficiency. Discussions also covered the expansion of meteorological early warning systems, climate projection vulnerability studies, and legislative updates. Furthermore, participants addressed technical topics such as Energy Identity Certificates, the transition to Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB), Green Certificate applications for buildings and settlements, and mitigation measures for the building sector aligned with the 2053 Net Zero goal. The potential of agriculture to provide both environmental and social benefits, along with advancements in integrating green technologies into production processes, were also highlighted.
