Prof. Halil Hasar, Director of Climate Change, met with Prof. Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, President of Middle East Technical University (METU), and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting addressed various topics, including METU’s ongoing research in the field of climate change as well as climate technology, sustainable cities, food security, the Climate Envoys initiative, the COP31 Action Agenda, and potential areas for future collaboration.

Expressing his pleasure regarding the visit, Director Hasar emphasized the significance the Directorate places on the contributions of universities to the COP31 process.
