A meeting was held at our Directorate with the participation of Alvaro Pereira, Head of the Policy Studies Division of the Economics Department and Delegation Head at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Jean Chateau, Senior Economist at the Economics Department, Luisa Lutz, Policy Research and Advisory Officer at the Economics Department, and Assia Elgouacem, Deputy Head of the Tax and Environment Unit at the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration.
At the meeting hosted by our Director, Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, Türkiye’s efforts in the field of mitigation in combating climate change, as well as the introduction of mitigation and adaptation strategies and action plans, were presented. In addition, discussions were held regarding the OECD's Inclusive Carbon Reduction Approaches Forum, providing insights and exchanges on the topic.
